What is Food?
Food is used for feeding your monsters in order for them to gain experience and increase level. The higher level, the stronger your monsters will be. Food is also used for upgrading certain buildings. Food is important thing that should be collected every-day, every-hour.
Food 
is produced in the Farms which can be upgraded to unlock more crops that even produce larger amount of Food.

Other ways to obtain Food are:
- Monster Market.
- Receive as a gift from friends.
- Receive via mystery eggs.
- Receive when a friend visits and clicks at your Farms.
- Complete certain goals.
- Daily bonus.
- Buy with gems.
On collecting your crops, you also earn XP 
with a ratio of 0.5→1.0 per

Before, crops grow time were 30 secs/ 5 mins/ 30 mins/ 2 hours/ 6 hours/ 12 hours/ 1 day/ 1 day 12 hours/ 2 days.
On Game Update 23/10/2013, new grow time are 30 secs/ 5 mins/ 30 mins/ 30 mins/ 45 mins/ 1 hour/ 30 mins/ 45 mins/ 1 hour.
Monster Growth Food Per Level
Leveling your monsters will require an increased amount of food, but the number of times you need to feed them to level up is always 4. So the amount of food needed to level up is 4 times the number of food per click.
